The tune is a traditional one, “Restoration”, from William Walker’s Southern Harmony of 1835.  The text is partially traditional, combined with  Robert Robinson’s 1758 “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing.” In the final stanza of this delightful arrangement the two voices follow each other in canon at the half measure.
